Richard Dentroux is the owner and home inspector of Home Detective Home Inspections LLC.

Buying a home is a decision that takes tremendous courage, and even then – the process of working your way toward a desirable outcome can be daunting—especially if you have little or no experience in the world of real estate and residential construction.

Richard is proud to have built a home inspection service that makes a positive impact on the lives of his customers, helping to prevent prospective homebuyers from becoming entangled in an investment that could go against their family’s dreams and expectations.

Richard is a retired police officer who has always been passionate about serving the public. After he retired, Richard thought long and hard about how he could still do good for his community, and becoming certified as home inspector stood out above everything else he considered.

Richard has enjoyed working on homes for many years on the side, designing numerous additions and modifications in order to improve and expand living spaces. His experience as a remodeler and system installer led Richard to become very knowledgeable about home construction. Before long, he earned his certification as a home inspector and began to build his company.
